Stage 3: Researcher Excellence Grants and Researcher Mobility GrantsOPENING DATE: 01 April 2010 CLOSING DATE: 07 May 2010 This Call is now closed (INTERVIEW DATES: 26 May 2010 - 08 June 2010) A further Call for Researcher Excellence Grants and Researcher Mobility Grants for the Energy JRPs is likely to be launched later in 2010 or 2011 Researcher Excellence Grants (REG) aim to "enlarge the number of organisations with capacities closely relating to metrology within the EU Member States and FP7 associated countries. A REG provides financial support for an experienced researcher to carry out research activities related to a JRP, in organisations that are not part of the National Metrology Systems (non NMI/DI organisations). This enables the involvement of high quality researchers, opening the JRPs to the best science. The work undertaken by the REG-Researcher must be relevant to the JRP objectives. Researcher Mobility Grants (RMG) aim to develop the capacity of individuals in Metrology The EMRP provides Researcher Mobility Grants (RMGs) to increase the capability of the European metrology researcher community, thereby supporting countries as they are building and furthering their capacity in Metrology. RMGs offer allowances that support a guestworking researcher, and are mainly aimed at organisations in EURAMET counties who are not participating in the EMRP * The work undertaken by the RMG-Researcher must be relevant to the JRP objectives, and undertaken at a funded JRP Partners premises located in a different country to the RMG-Researchers employer. * RMGs are also available to NMIs, DI, the JRC and REG Home Organisations (but preference is given to organisations developing their metrology capability) To apply please upload your completed RMG Application form via the online submission form by the deadline of Friday 7th May 2010 23:59 CET The budget available for these is given in the Call Budget. Further details on the grant allowances, eligibility criteria for the Researcher, and eligibility criteria for the Guestworking Organisations will be available when this call opens. |
