| 2010-07-13 | Henny Spaan | IBS Precision Engineering | IBS Precision Engineering proposes to participate in this project as a contractual partners under a REG. With our Isara technology we offer an unique R&D platform to the project, essential for proving the traceability of the tactile measurements. By the time the project is running we most likely can also offer an optical single sensor technique even further extending the excellence of this project.
IBS PE will apply for the REG to cover the salary costs of the researcher (who has a PhD in surface and freeform metrology and works for IBS PE for more than 6 years. IBS PE will offer to the project the availability of the Isara 400 equipment including needed probes and cleanroom facilities. We do understand that there is no additional funding for that (the offered overhead will only cover the company overhead for employing the researcher). IBS PE believes that our Isara technology is a very important contribution and will certainly benefit the project. |
