2010-07-27 Beáta Jakusovszky MKEH Our capabilities are in pH, conductivity (salinity) and temperature measurements connectint to this project. We can determinate organic compounds from water by HPLC-DAD and HPLC-FLD.
2010-06-24 Richard J. C. Brown NPL We have an interest in the objectives of this SRT via our research activities and capability in the pH and salinity measurement areas (see also our entry under SRT-07e).
2010-06-24 Jaanika Blomster University of Helsinki The research we do in our research group deals with the biodiversity of planktonic organisms in the Baltic Sea and sea ice, the weight being on eukaryotic picoplankton, dinoflagellate and ciliate diversity. We have solid experience in molecular systematic methods and we are currently moving towards using the 454-sequencing in resovling the true diversity and diversity loss due to climate change and habitat loss of planktonic and sea ice communties in the Baltic Sea area.

We have close connections to other institutions working on this topic outside Europe (e.g. Japan and USA) and we are involved in the BONUS-169 Joint Baltic Sea Research Programme.
